Epoxy / epoxy coating

An epoxy coating (abbreviation EP) consists of polymers (polyether). Epoxy coating uses a thermosetting plastic with high strength and chemical resistance. To produce it, epoxy and hardener are mixed. If epoxy resin and hardener are mixed, the originally liquid mixture usually hardens within a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the composition and temperature.
