Rhenotherm Plastic Coating GmbH
Rhenotherm Kunststoffbeschichtungs GmbH was founded in Krefeld in 1977 as a specialist company for fluoropolymer coating (surface coating) of industrial parts. Initially, the focus was primarily on standard surface coating systems under DuPont license (specifically, the legendary Teflon™ pan).
In the year 2002 the company settled in Kempen. We currently employ about 50 employees. From the beginning, the company has been focused on the advancement of existing coating processes, and to date has filed and received 6 patents in the course of its activities.
To guarantee our customers a consistent standard and quality in all the aforementioned areas, our companies were certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 as early as 1995. In 2017, the certification was extended to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Because: Quality creates trust.

This page provides an overview of Rhenotherm's coating portfolio. We offer contract coating services for industrial components, applying non-stick, corrosion protection, and functional coatings based on fluoropolymers such as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), PFA (perfluoroalkoxy), and FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene), high-performance plastics like PEEK (polyetheretherketone), as well as sol-gel and PFAS-free systems. These services are bundled under our own product brands: Rhenolease® (non-stick coatings), Rhenoguard® (corrosion protection), and Rhenoback® (coatings for baking trays and molds).
