FDA, BGA

FDA = are product approvals under the Food and Drug Administration (USA) The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is the United States Food and Drug Administration and is under the Ministry of Health. It was founded in 1927, based in Rockville, Maryland.

BGA= Federal Health Office (D), since 1994 replaced by various institutions. The Federal Health Office (BGA) was founded 1952 as a successor organization of the Reichsundheitsamt and was the central state research institution of the Federal Republic of Germany in the field of public health based in Berlin.

Following the dissolution of the Federal Department of Health 1994, three independent institutions have emerged which have been subordinated to the Federal Ministry of Health.
